3. The Microphone Song

The microphone song ! (Thanks to Sympho in Dakar for this message : )

 I’ve tried it with my CPs and they loved it. As everyone wanted to have the microphone, I found this strategy:

1st we sing all the 4 lines with one pupil giving his name, then you point at another who immediately gives his name and the class sings; you continue that way, instead of singing all. And before the last pupil, you sing it entirely!

It sounds like this:

1 – Hello, hello, hello, what’s your name?

Hello, hello, hello!

My name is Jenny, my name is Jenny

–          Hello Jenny, Hello Jenny, Hello!

2 – My name is Mamadou, my name is Mamadou

–          Hello Mamadou, Hello Mamadou, hello!

3- My name is Sympho, My name is sympho,

–          Hello Sympho, Hello Sympho, hello!

……….

Before the last pupil

Hello, hello, hello, what’s your name?

Hello, hello, hello!

My name is Maryse, my name is Maryse

–          Hello Maryse, Hello Maryse, Helloooooooooo!
