I am a big fan of the work of Carolyn Graham and her Jazz Chants. On several occasions, I have had the opportunity to work on the Jazz Chant The Little Red Hen with groups of teachers in Dakar. Much laughter and enjoyment, but also pleasure in producing work of high quality in terms of phonological reproduction and the musicality of the language.
